Nipigon is located on the Nipigon River that flows from Lake Nipigon to Lake Superior. All year round there is plenty to do in the Nipigon area: snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and ice climbing in winter; boating, fishing, hiking, and camping in the summer. Also enjoy the Historical Walking Tour, Nipigon Murals, nine hole golf course situated between beautiful mountains, hiking trail that links the communities of Nipigon and Red Rock.
