Beardmore is located 10 kilometres east of the shores of Lake Nipigon. Poplar Lodge Park offers swimming, hiking, boating, fishing, the Annual Trout Hunt in July, as well as some of the most stunning scenery. Visit the Pijitawabik Palisades, cliffs that feature an interpretive hiking trail and some of the best rock and ice climbing opportunities in the world. Come see the local landmark, a giant wooden snowman structure, the “World’s Largest Snowman”.
